Job Title: HR Lead
Location: Netherlands (hybrid) Mondays in Enschede with travel to Germany when required.
Hours: Full-time, 32-40 hours per week

Role Overview

As the HR Lead at QuiX Quantum, you will play a key role in managing and optimizing the human resources strategy in a fast-growing deep-tech company. With a rapidly expanding team across multiple countries, you will oversee a variety of HR functions including employee onboarding and deboarding, compliance, policy updates, payroll administration, and employee development. Your role will be crucial in supporting the integration of new employees, particularly expats, and ensuring compliance with international HR laws.

This position allows you to shape the HR processes, work on multinational HR duties, and provide strategic support to the management team. You will also help maintain and update HR policies, ensuring that QuiX Quantum remains compliant with evolving legislation.

Key Responsibilities

• Onboarding & Offboarding:

• Coordinate the entire onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all employment contracts are processed accurately and timely.

• Facilitate the smooth integration of new employees by setting up a buddy system and organizing necessary trainings.

• Manage the offboarding process, ensuring a seamless transition for departing employees.

• Assist expats with visa applications, the 30% ruling, and provide support throughout their employment lifecycle.

• HR Administration:

• Act as the main point of contact for pensions, insurance, UWV, IND, and other HR-related administrative matters.

• Maintain and update employee contracts and company policies to comply with local and international labor laws.

• Oversee the timely application of changes in employment laws and update relevant policies accordingly.

• Employee Development & Performance:

• Coordinate the QuiX Academy, including managing internships and organizing training opportunities for employees.

• Oversee annual performance reviews, providing structured feedback and development opportunities.

• Support ongoing employee education and training to promote staff growth and development.

• HR Policy & Process Optimization:

• Develop and continuously improve HR processes, including the employee handbook and RI&E (Risk Inventory & Evaluation) plans.

• Work with the Finance department on payroll administration to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

• Manage employee leave and hour registration systems.

• Employee Relations & Compliance:

• Act as the point of contact for expats and multinational staff, helping them navigate the challenges of working abroad.

• Ensure compliance with labor laws in the Netherlands, Germany, and future subsidiaries, providing updates on changing legislation.

• Advisory Role:

• Provide the management team with both solicited and unsolicited advice on HR policies, workforce planning, and employee development strategies.

Who You Are

• Experience:

• Around 10 years of HR experience, with a focus on multinational HR duties.

• Proven experience in setting up and improving HR processes, particularly in a technical or high-tech environment.

• Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Skills:

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple HR processes simultaneously.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to advise and collaborate with leadership.

• Familiarity with international HR regulations and experience working with technical teams.

• Ability to work independently and lead within a team-oriented environment.
