Why this Role Matters
As a Presales Consultant, you will make Helin’s mission tangible for customers by translating complex technology into solutions that improve safety, reduce downtime, and optimize energy operations. You ensure that prospects experience the real-world value of our platform before making key investment decisions.
What You'll Achieve
  • Increase opportunity conversion by delivering tailored demos that address customer challenges
  • Support pipeline generation by designing solution proposals aligned with industrial, maritime, and energy market needs
  • Lead proof-of-concepts and pilots, ensuring high success rates through clear technical validation and customer alignment
  • Deliver technical workshops and product training sessions for customers and internal teams
  • Partner with account executives to qualify opportunities and co-develop proposals that balance technical feasibility and business outcomes
  • Gather structured customer feedback from pilots and feed insights into product development
  • Represent Helin at client meetings, industry events, and seminars to communicate our value proposition
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to align solutions with Helin’s roadmap
What You Bring
  • 3–6 years experience in industrial, maritime, or energy projects, applying digital solutions to operational challenges
  • 1–3 years experience in presales, technical sales, or solution consulting, supporting enterprise deals
  • Hands-on experience with industrial software, IoT, or connectivity solutions, applied in customer-facing contexts
  • Strong communication skills, enabling you to explain complex technology in a clear and compelling way to diverse audiences
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously while collaborating closely with sales, product, and engineering teams
Nice to Have
  • Experience with industrial edge, connectivity, and data platforms
  • Fluency in Dutch or German in addition to English
  • Experience coaching peers or sharing best practices within a sales organization
  • Familiarity with energy transition and renewable energy use cases
